My Gardening Principles
I love helping clients transform their lawns and gardens into spaces that are beautiful and supportive of local ecology. I never use glyphosate (Roundup) or other synthetic herbicides or pesticides. I take pride in removing invasive or unwanted plants via hand weeding rather than spraying herbicides and maintaining healthy gardens with organic materials, guided by regenerative principles.All of my power tools are electric with the exception of my gas-powered lawnmower.Check out my Instagram and Tiktok @maypopgardencare!
About Me
My name is Claire and I am the owner-operator of Maypop Garden Care, a garden care and landscaping business based in Columbia, SC. I am a lifelong gardener and resident of the Midlands. Since graduating from USC Columbia with my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2022, I have worked as a horticultural technician in organic plant nurseries and as a skilled landscape gardener crew lead for a fine gardening business.
